Hello,
I have tried every option on the internet, and after a day or 2 i found the solution.
Support asked me to post the solution here.
so here it is:
STEAM USERS
What to do to fix it:
- Open steam and create a new game folder (settings)
- If you can’t create one on the HDD then cut and paste your games to an folder not in use by steam (on the same hdd, file will be cut/paste instant)
- Uninstall steam
- Install steam on an other HDD
- Open steam, go to settings create a new game folder (keep it short like
\steamgames) make it default
- Install a small game (needed for steam to create the right directories in the steamgames folder you have created)
- When done, simply cut and paste your games into the steamgames folder (example:
\steamgames\steamapps\common)
- Now close steam (if you had it open) and reopen steam.
- Now hit install/download/play on the game you want.
From here on it checks the game files, when done you can play / open the launcher without being stuck on loading.
NO STEAM USERS
- Simply create a small directory (d:\games)
- Cut/paste your game in there and run it.
Have fun!
