Quick question? Master writ voucher

Does anyone know if the new furnishing motifs (telvani, indoril etc etc) drop out of the master writ merchant voucher boxes (the ones you buy from him with writs)?

I hate farming urns. I'd realize the drop rate would be low but I'd much rather get them this way.

I've bought a lot of Hlaalu furnishing documents. I've not received a Morrowind furnishing plan since they dropped, but that's not unexpected given their drop rate. Based on my farming for plans both ways, I've always assumed the master writ grab bags dispense the exact same recipes that are in urn rotation.

No, they don't drop out of the merchant voucher boxes.

Hlaalu, Redoran and Telvanni motifs only drop from pickpocketing the NPCs in Vardenfell and sometimes out of safeboxes, though the pickpocketing is far, far more reliable.

That's the motifs. I'm talking about the furnishings. Different thing all together

sorry confused as you called them motifs and not recipes in your Original Post.

The recipes are basically only containers, you can pickpocket too but that is much much slower and you don't get many that way.

Also, I'm amazed that anybody buys the furnishing documents at the new prices. Are either purple or blue furnishing documents actually worth it?

No, the Furnishers Documents do not drop any of the furniture plans specific to Vvardenfell. And yes, purchasing them is still worth it. ZOS has lowered the drop rate on purple plans so far that most still have good value for resale. And/or it's the "best" way to get ones you don't have. Other choise is container farming for YEARS.
