Character help

A friend and I were going to play through AS I together and we both bought the game. I got the Imperial Edition, as did he. But before he made his character he bought the Morrowind expansion.

My character is still in the prison and I have spent the bonus crowns on him ... is there any way for me to use the same character in Morrowind without going through the prison?

I would like the horse still, but we are wanting to go through both games completely blind without either of us know what is going to happen.

Unfortunately, no, the starter areas are different between a Morrowind owner and non-owner.

That said, these starter stories are pretty short ... you can join each other in mainland Tamriel after a minimal amount of time.

Yeah, those characters made after buying Morrowind start on the slaver isle, and go to coldharbour prison later on, while those made before start in coldharbour prison, and go to Vvardenfell later on.

If you have one in coldharbour... just run through the prison, get out, and simply leave the starter isle be for a while, taking a detour towards Vvardenfell to play the Morrowind stuff. Its possible. Although, I find it more enjoyable to play morrowind after the mainstory, lore-wise...
