3rd person camera view and distance question

Does anyone know if its possible to zoom out a bit further in 3rd person view?

Also, is there a way to lock your camera at a preferred angle and distance?

Yes.

On XBox hold down (I think) on the D-Pad and then move one of the joysticks down. Sorry it's one of those things my fingers know how to do but my brain is unsure of.

But yes, it's an option and it'll change your life.

If you change the FOV for 3rd person it will give you a more zoomed out sense as well, it does give you a lot more spacial awareness but some (myself included) don't like the fish bowl effect you start to get.

You can only scroll out as far as it allows, then use the FOV for a bit more/sense of more.

Otherwise it's locked to where it is. All options to tweak are in the camera options section.

LOL I'm already like that - I have one of though daft-sized wide monitors . It makes me feel like my eyes are about a foot apart lol.
