ESO Freezing, forced to End Task.

ESO is intermittently freezing, but I can still move around in game and I can still hear the audio of everything I do, and my friends can still see me do things. But my game is frozen on a single frame. I am forced to kill the game in taskmanager. Happens with and without add ons. Is completely random, can happen when fighting or when just standing browsing inventory

Due to the randomness of the freezes you are experiencing, there could be a few different reasons this is happening.

Is this happening only on a specific character or in certain zones?

If you've not done so, the first troubleshooting you should try is updating video card drivers and repairing through the launcher.

Check graphics card drivers and settings

Download and install latest drivers for your graphics card:

    Repair the game client

To repair the game client, open the ESO Launcher, click Game Options, and then select Repair.

Done both of those things, including multiple repairs. It seemingly happens completely randomly. Can happen in dungeons or just sitting in random places looking through menus etc. How can I increase the amount of RAM my game uses? I am already using the 64 bit client. And can I increase the LUA memory that my addons have available? Perhaps that could help? I cant find the option to increase the LUA memory in the UserSettings.txt file anymore.

I have the exact same thing. Screen freezes, whole PC locks up, if I attempt to move while this is going on I hear a butt load of beeps. Finally the pc isn't locked up but ESO has a Blackscreen (still allowing me to function in game, simply blind). My specs aren't all to great, and after talking with a friend in school for computers last night it was basically one of three things:

    ESO has a memory leak,
It's my CPU (old 6 core one),
    It's a lack of ram.

You can control two of those. If it's still an issue, you can figure out if it is the third (and run repair about ten times xD).

Yea, the thing is im on a new i7 and 32gb ram so I dont think either of those are applicable. So perhaps memory leak is the culprit
