StamDK PVP below level 50. (need help)

So I am getting closer to level 45 with my StamDK and plan to craft some gear for him

First of all, I am not sure whether I should run (S&B + DW / S&B + 2H / S&B + S&B / S&B + Bow) so would appreciate several suggestions on that

Second of all, what item sets would you suggest depending on the weapon slots I run? I'm personally leaning towards S&B + DW, but would BIS item gear differ for S&W & 2H for example?

And also, how should I go around not having Monster Sets and not being able to craft jewellery in order to get the bonuses from 2 full sets? Is there any way to wear 2 full 5 pieces armor sets at level 45?

I will mainly PVP in Cyrodiil and Battlegrounds, solo

Would love to hear interesting combinations of item sets for various weapon set ups

Cheers!

Whichever weapon skill lines you have leveled up at this point, but I'd lean towards 2H+1H and Shield.

Easiest way to get a decent gearing for stamDK in nonvet is to run a dolmen cycle for some level 46 jewelry (and complete that 5piece set)--that'll level well enough with you to get through level 50. Then craft around it. 5+5+2 on sword and board bar, dropping the 2piece bonus on 2H bar.

Heavy vs Medium also depends on which you have leveled at this point.

    Two questions here:
    1) Your suggestion on how to get the 2nd 5piece armor set is to farm it, right? Then from which level should I start given that (i) I will inevitably level up and (ii) I want to be in a position where I can stay at Non-Vet PVP for a while
    2) Which non-crafted set would you then suggest for me to farm? Could you elaborate on possible combinations of crafted and non-crafted sets for StamDK?

So I would start farming your jewelry+2pieces set about 2-3 levels before you want to PvP. 7th legion or Veiled Heritance are good choices. I'd definitely do the farm first so you can craft around whatever drops you get.

Either would pair well with a basic crafted set like Hundings, Night Mothers Gaze, or Eternal Hunt. You don't need to be super fancy, it's nonvet PvP. adjust sustain vs. damage via glyphs/mundus.

Alternatively, you could try and find low level jewelry for sale--enough people play nonvet PvP regularly that you can probably find Fury jewelry+2 body pieces relatively easily.

With the new XP scaling, if you get into PvP around level 46 you'll have a fair amount of playtime in there--just avoid needlessly taking undefended resources and whatnot, as that'll just give you XP and AP without PvP.

Thanks for the suggestions. What do you think about the race? I've chosen Orc, but is there any need to change the race?

Remember you can spend AP or Tel Var on the Cyrodiil or Imperial City boxes ... without wasting more levels earning XP on trying for dolmen jewelry.

About 200-300k AP, depending on your luck, should cover a purple 5-piece Cyrodiil set that includes jewelry. And, don't forget you can bank AP from other characters. As an example, Morag Tong fits great with a stam DK poison build if you have any of the poison skills unlocked.
