I am just wondering which dk abilities set enemies off balance so I can use power lash and get the heal from that ability.

Thnx =)

    Shattering rocks is one of them, don't know if Leap counts as off balance?

    In group PvE it's other dps that set up for the target to be off balance but running lightning staves with WoE, shock enchants on their front bar and more.

    Not sure what would be used solo.

    Flame lash sets them off balance when they are snared or immobilized, then flame lash becomes power lash. So keep talons or fossilize on your bar to immobilize enemies, then whip them twice and the second one is free. Alternatively, backbar a lightning staff, because lightning AoEs (wall of elements) and heavy attacks set enemies off balance all the time, and then just move in and clean up with the power lash.

    Everything seems accurate to me. If your concerned about skill costs, there are so many variables to that that you should never use anything but the tool tips in game on your character with your passives and gear to know costs.

    Quite frankly, I never really worried about an off balance skill for the Whip, it procced often enough that i could just use it twice in a row and the heals kept up. But I also applied Searing Strikes for Heals too.

    And, if they are winding up a Heavy Attack or a Spell and you Bash or otherwise Interrupt, that can set them off balance.

    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Some of it is off, if you check silver boltsi t says magicka damage. Strange.

    Now that I reread the skills, i realize what i was missing.

    Move along, nothing to see here. o:)

    I see that for the follow up doing Magic Damage, maybe it does. I don't know, I have not used an FG Active Skill in years.

    Silver Bolts would always just drain my stamina because I would fire it like a machine gun...... :p

    This is better as all information is current as you can play with the numbers.

    Also on topic, just a thought since dragon knights have a way to set enemies off balance the the dragon knight healer's wouldn't need elemental blockade.

    In pvp, the best way is to stun/root someone and then lash them. You'll get one power lash out of that. For pve, have an infused (or charged) staff with a shock enchant on your main bar and a lightning staff on your blockade bar. The enchant will concuss them, and the lightning blockade will set concussed enemies offbalance. Keep that up and you'll spend the majority of the fight with a cost-free healing spammable.
