Soul Shriven Skin.

Why is it that i can get 4 of the pets in 1 day but i can't get the skin? I have farmed over 20 hours of the middle and have only gotten 4 pets.

Also why can i get multiple pets when only the first one counts shouldn't those extra pets i get get put into some sort of increased chance to get the skin?

What's going on with this skin?

A friend of mine claims to have done over 500 loots on molag bal without obtaining the skin over the last few years. This is easily plausible considering I buy like 100k tv off of him every couple of days. Happy farming!

Worst thing is the crown store version probably looks better.

The pet has a far higher drop chance then the skin I think. At least I and most people I know of have gotten it earlier and often multiple times.

I've heard fengrush say on stream that he has never gotten the skin- and that dude was basically mayor of the sewers for a year and a half. so even if you take the slim odds and double it- the drop chance is still very very low.

if you go in there trying to farm it- you won't find it productive- better to go in there with the approach of getting stones and keys, having some pvp action- and maybe you might get lucky. but going in there with the goal of "I've got 10 days to get this skin and i won't stop til i do" - well you're never going to get those days back is all.

hmm yeah i pretty much gave up on it havent been able to find any dc groups running it and spent a very long time only farming that for days in a row and didnt get crap what a shame.

This is the second IC anniversary. I don't believe "never" is the right word, but will be an entire year before the IC event comes back.

Definitely not the case. I got the skin recently whilst in a small group of 10 or less. We had a healer that was pretty excited to be in the group because they were able to loot as well.

That being said, it took me roughly 15ish hours of farming Molag Bal to get the Stonefire Scamp and the Soul-Shriven Skin. While I was farming with those two drops in mind, I viewed them as bonus items in light of the amount of Tel Var, Key Frags, and gold I was raking in. (I was managing 17K-18K from just selling Ornate items to vendors. Generally speaking roughly 100 Ornate items per run after filling all available inventory space. )

The skin is most definitely not a myth. I and a few others have gotten it along with the stonefire scamp.

Last night i was considering buying the IC dlc game pack just for the skin that comes with it but i already have IC and dont care about the horse and w/e else it comes with only care about the skin. i hate spending money and actually considered it, im wondering if they make the drop chance so rare so those ppl who don't mind spending the money just buys that 3.3k crown bundle just for a flipping skin.

Actually, it can be less than nothing especially considering with the drop rate determined server side and more players on the server farming it than double.... It can take a serious slide down the blackhole where missing socks go.

Different skin. The dropped one doesn't glow. The crown store bundle one has glowing cracks and eyes.

Got mine last night/this morning. Two of us in the group got it on the same drop from Molag.

If you want the skin, GET IT DURING THE EVENT. I can't stress that enough. The drop rate will be low but it will at least be feasible to get the drop. Without the anniversary drop chance buff you have no chance to get it. Take one night to farm it safely with a small group of friends and hope it works out.
