Mounted Run Animation Playing with No Horse

I ran into the blacksmithing / clothing building in Daggerfall while mounted on my cheapest horse. The horse vanished as expected, but my character sank into the ground up to his waist and rode an invisible pony around the workshop. Re-mounting and dis-mounting did not solve the problem. Neither did entering or exiting a building. I was able to fix the problem by logging out and logging back in. I you-tubered a video of my invisible underground pony. See link below.
