Class Cosmetic Customization

In some other games, I know it is possible to alter the appearances of abilities that can be used by certain classes. We have already seen a variant of this in ESO with the Warden having access to an ability which changes the appearance of their bear pet. I'm imagining a system (possibly done through the crown store, or possibly through skill mastery or other achievements) that allows players to change the appearance of skills and abilities for their class. For example, DragonKnights might be able to turn their flame abilities blue and white instead of the normal color scheme, or perhaps Sorcerers can use green lightning/energy. I think it would be a fun way to incentivise progression (if progression is how it is unlocked) but also in interesting way to customize character appearance. What do you guys think?

As long as it didn't take too many resources away from developing actual content I think it might be cool. Would it create more strain on the servers though? If so then probably not a great idea. Would it have any effect on pvp? Do people use colours as a tell at all to determine what their opponent is doing (not a pvper so don't know the answer to this)? If so then that's something that would need to be addressed too.

I really, really really REALLY miss my orange flames as a stam DK. I don't mind other people having green flames, I just want to keep my build and not have to change the aesthetic I made my character at launch to use. If we're talking about really fancy stuff, of course, then I'd also be fine with buying other color palette swaps to switch between at my leisure. Could be fun!

That would be cool. And after all, they've already added a special category for these things (so far there's only grey warden bear, but I would love to see cosmetics for other classes).

Yeah, That would be cool. Maybe the sorcerers can use other animals in summoning or other colors. Nightblades can have a different siphoning ability. Templars can use a dark form of their solar powers.

I switched my stam DK to magicka because of the green LOL because she's supposed to use fire magic, not poison (I actually like mag DK better now though)
