Color settings question

Quick question, when I run ESO on my computer, it tends to get a bit dark in game. I went into my ESO documents folder and found "Usersettings".......there are all kinds of codes for color, brightness, lighting effects, etc, are there any value changes I could adjust in these so my game doesn't get dark?

It doesn't get game breaking level dark, but in dungeons it's tough to see around.

If you are not familiar with what each setting means in the "Usersettings.txt" file, you can still change the gamma in game to make things brighter. After launching the game, go to Settings, and then move the Gamma Adjustment bar to the brightness level you prefer.

First thing to do really is Calibrate your Monitor for the light conditions in which you usually play the game.

Most monitors are in "Torch" mode out of the box, your shooting for around 50% brightness and 40% to 60% Contrast. Yours may have been adjusted so it is not too bright based on your post. Anyway, once your monitor is calibrated, then use the Gamma settings in the game to tweak that.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
