Mounts With Gameplay Effects (more than just skins)

Since the game started and I received my first horse I always wondered why different breeds of horses didn't have subtle gameplay differences... even if it were just in the stats, like a palamino is always +10 to speed while an Imperial horse is always +10 to stamina. Eventually when new mount types came out the idea stuck with me, it seemed like the mounts should be more than just skins.

Example:
Horses maintain sprint speed without using stamina
Cats gain a longer jump distance
Guar can carry more equipment innately
Wolves have a reduced agro radius
Dwemer have infinite stamina but no sprint (i.e. you cant be knocked off)

I know it isn't high priority or anything... it just seems like a missed opportunity to add some variety in mount choices.

That will not happen because most mount types require cash purchase. Other than the cat and horse I think everything else is only Crown store and only those that subbed the first year on PC have a cat not found in the crown store.

Zos will not be adding any of that to in game purchases.

Several of the in-game-gold horses DID have stats that were different originally; they took it out. But yes, unless they add some kind of generic Guar, camel, etc. for purchase with in-game gold, they shouldn't give them species-specific special abilities; P2W and all that.
