GW2 (WvW) and ESO (AvA): differences? similarities? preferences?

HI, I've been playing teso for a while but I've also tried to like GW2.
What I like about gw2: server seems to perform better and it's really easy to engage in fights skirmishes pretty quickly;
What I like about teso: it seems more strategic and less blob vs. blob (i'm not saying eso is zerg free...it seems less zerg oriented), classes seem more balanced, the atmosphere is more epic with less crappy cartoon and like effects and gear. I also die less in TESO so that's a pretty good factor
What are your thoughts? which one do you prefer and why?just curious really

✭✭✭✭✭Comparing gw2 open world to ESO open world for me is the equivalent to arguing about the qualities of frozen mcdonalds hamburger patties compared to burgerking patties.
You know both are supposed to be meat but you can´t really be too sure.
Both games do a terrible job in terms of open world pvp experience.<Noricum>

dennissomb16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭If talking strictly the WvW/RvR the differences in the game really boil down to a few simple things. Maps in GW2 are much smaller so getting around takes almost no time and in some cases you can actually siege from inside a keep to another keep (stupid design in my opinion). Since the maps are smaller there are also a few different maps vs ESO one Cyrodil.
GW2 is server based vs ESO's one server with different campaigns. They both have the same issue however where population imbalance can cause one side to dominate at various times of the day.
Siege overall in ESO is far better where defenders can slow up and even defeat greater numbers with a good combination of siege and game play. GW2 siege can be downright silly with an army 20 Golems destroying a map in minutes as an example
Game play wise you can argue till blue in the face over classes, mechanics etc. but one thing is clear. If you think zergs are big in ESO they are nothing compared to the giant zergs of GW2
Simple comparison overall but I find ESO Cyrodiil far better then GW2 WvW0
