About unstable ping

This post isn't to say that Bliz****'s game is better or worse; it's just about a simple experiment--not the most scientific, I know, but nevertheless empirical--that I tried. With the unstable ESO server as of late, and as of late meaning for the last year or so, I decided to give W*W a try which is a game that I have never tried, just to see if the problem actually is on my end. You read all these posts saying, "Oh, since I'M NOT LAGGING, the latency problem must be on your end." Hmm... I've said this in multiple posts that I am playing from Asia at the moment, and, of course, my active ESO account is on American server. I can understand occasional ping spikes, but multiple game freezes and crash in a row? I did want to know if the problem actually was on my end, so I decided to give W*W a try, on AMERICAN SERVER obviously. And, to be honest, W*W isn't a game that I'll frequent, but this was just for this simple test. Well, well, well. For some reason, I'm not lagging, and my game definitely does NOT freeze nor crash, let alone that happening in a sequence. Yeah, Bliz**** is a bigger company and has Asian servers as well, and that may or may not factor in to this, but something's just weird. I don't crash when playing Battlefield 1 in American server, don't freeze nor crash while playing any other games. So, what the heck is up guys? Yeah, no game is perfect, I get that. But there is a problem when the company that's managing the game PRETENDS LIKE THERE'S NO PROBLEM and decides to release this DLC and that DLC just because they know it'll milk in money. Honestly, with every DLC release, the lag gets worse. ESO has regular server maintenance, but what exactly are they trying to maintain again?

And before anyone turns on their immature mode and says, "Oh, then why don't ya go play those other games huhhhhhh?" ...... Just pointing out a problem. I don't hate this game, I just hate the state it's in right now. And sugar-coating a company definitely won't get anything fixed. Again, the point of this post isn't to say that this-or-that game is better than the other; I'm just stating what I found to be facts from my perspective. And, frankly, those people that say "the problem is on your end" have NEVER given me a fix. It's not that they don't want to give it; they just don't know, which leads me to believe that they are NOT credible when they say, "Oh, the problem's on your end." If the problem is indeed on my end and someone has the fix, please do feel free to share it. I find that I'm not the only one whose game constantly freezes, whose ping spikes like Winterborn proc, and whose game crashes like Skoria meteor. Not claiming to be an expert in this subject, but I do think that at this point the problem isn't on "your end". And, certainly, it's not the "player population" that's causing this lag, freeze, and crash. Even when the server's relatively empty, these effects are still live. Is ZOS actually looking into this problem?

(This is not a rant post. For the last time, just pointing out a problem. And if ZOS isn't up to taking criticisms like this, although there have been many, then so be it.)

The reason why WoW won't crash frequently is because it's from 2004 and it runs on crappy specs. ESO is recent, makes use of newest technologies, although I agree optimization isn't something that we frequently get from patches.
