Is there not a slider is the game settings to adjust it? I don't have a One S but I read there was a setting for it.

Does your TV support HDR? If not, you can make sure HDR is disabled in your Xbox One S.
    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide
    2. Go to Settings and All settings
    3. Choose Display & sound and select Video output
    4. Select Advanced video settings.
    5. Allow HDR settings should be un-checked if you want HDR off.

It's prob not our TVs it's just this game.

I have the new ultra UHD LG smart tv and in HDR it offers multiple HDR modes so it looks VERY color distorted to. Over/under saturated.

The only reasonable option is to run this game in HDR Vivid if you have an LG TV. Do not use HDR game mode even tho that's the correct choice

There are other advanced options as well but what kind of TV do you have I'll share my opinions on how to work around this poor HDR situation in this game. It's still going to have distorted colors and sadly this work around creates eye strain and nausea for me....reason why I quit and just log in to check mail and craft research

    @ZOS_BillE
Suggesting to turn HDR off on the TV is a terrible response as your game HDR settings slider doesn't even work nor can we turn off HDR in your game so please provide this feedback to those in charge of HDR as there's a huge distortion of color issue on your end as these are all screencaptures from the Xbox and that omits any TV settings but it's clear it's wrong and off

This is exactly what I see. Thank you. I thought I was going crazy. I have a Samsung KS8000 which does HDR excellent with other games. For now I just turn off HDR when I'm playing ESO which for me isn't a big deal but I had hoped that it looked better by the time the xbox one x patch comes out. In the end, the game is fun enough for me to get over it but it's a shame.

    No you're not going crazy.
At best if you do want to keep on HDR....on the Samsung, you would run HDR on the higher more intense mode and manually adjust all the sliders (kinda sucks tho cause it impacts the other games too, so I run this in a diff HDR mode than my other HDR games to keep the settings separate)

Go perform the xbox advanced display set up and write down your settings for
    Bright
    Gamma
    Contrast
    Color
    .....
    etc

and Turn off all those other effects (but play around with the motion blur or smooth cause outside of HDR Game mode you may need it)

I would love an in game option to turn off hdr. Can't be too hard to implement.

Ps4 Pro owner here with Samsung KS7500 , the HDR slider only determine how "blueish " will be the textures at night time . The HDR game mode on ESO looks bad after the Morrowind droped , some of the old zones look better in HDR tho , but they are relativly small piece of the content .

My main issue with HDR in ESO is the reds are so intense that it hurts my eyes, which isnt great as in Vvardenfell there is alot of lava and its getting so I dont want to play the Morrowind expansion anymore. Please address this with the xbox one x patch in update 16

At least it does something on PS4.....no effects on my LG657700 series tv but other games do change so I assumed its a problem for ZOS.
