Another Gap Closer Bug Report, with a twist...

I unfortunately wasn't recording at the time, but my buddy and I were going through a postern Door down at Fort Ash trying to get away from some Ebonheart Pact chasing us. We got through just fine, when suddenly a Nightblade gap closed my buddy through the postern door, and got into our keep! I don't think it was done maliciously, since it looked like the NB panicked pretty hard, and got the heck out of there as fast as he could. He gap closed with what looked like Teleporting Strike (Ambush Morph I think).

This all happened on PC NA at around 12 am EDT btw.

So yeah, just another gap closer bug report, but instead of gap closing up a wall, it was through a postern door not owned by the player gap closing. Might want to look into that.

They are looking into it since ESO Beta. Stay hopeful!

What I mean by this is that it is very rare occurrence and they would have to rewrite the whole code just to fix it. Which is not really worth it for them.

Since NB gap closer is simply teleport, if you manage to enter door in that split moment between NB using the teleport (where the check if its allowed port happens) and getting in that position. He will teleport on you behind the door.

Sounds about right. I just hope this doesn't become an exploit people start taking advantage of, more than it might already.

Any wall that can be brought down can be clipped through with ambush, leap or ww leap. Been like that forever.

I've ended up going through many a keep door with with move on my nightblade. Always a terrifying experience.

You can do it with nature's grasp too. I mean it's going to be a friendly door as a warden but I still try to time it right on an ally because it's funny.
