Dye Stamp: How to apply?

I had no clue about the details of these things, and there's not much info in the crown store about them, so I bought one of these about a week to 10 days ago because I figured I'd give it a whirl to see how it worked out.
It's in my inventory on a particular 'toon.
No matter what I do or try, it says that across the bottom.

It matters not whether I'm at a dye station, and there's no cue to access it at a dye station.

What gives?
Where's the instruction-bot tab on that thing that gives me info when I click it?

In retrospect - I'm not buying another if it's one-use-and-discard, but I don't feel like deleting it without at least airing it out, first.

Dye stamps aren't used at dye stations.

Equip your costume and/or hat of choice. Go to your inventory and the prompt should be on the stamp, it's been a while since I used one but it should be something like press E (if you're on PC) to use it and it should dye the costume.

Oh, and dye stamps are one use only. The colours are pre-determined, you have no say in what dyes what colour. The colours will stay on the costume until you dye it again with a different stamp.

This message appears because of add-ons. Disable add-ons. Apply stamp, enable add-ons.

I ran into the same issue with the stamps. the only CS item I dislike and will never buy again.

I believe it is caused by the NoSpin add-on, it also causes Crown Crates to fail and problems with previewing furniture. Try unchecking NoSpin and /reloadui and try again.
