Fire mages on Stage 8 in Veteran Maelstrom Arena are not interruptable

Title says it. This Bug is keeping destroying my flawless runs on stamina warden and stamina nightblade. It annoys me so much, i won't go in there for a while now. They spawn, start shooting fireballs and are not bashable, no matter how often you spam the button.

Bugs like this need fixing, because i've heard this from a lot of people by now. @ZOS_GinaBruno, please have this fixed at least in time for CWC.

and when you do eventually manage to get a flawless run you will not be awarded your title because of some other random broken mechanic that the devs no longer care about.

yes im salty flawless runs on 11 characters (1 mag & 1 stam of each class and a healer) no title to show for it

My experience is that they are interuptable (I do have experienced the same "bug" as you do quite a few times) but they sometimes appear at one place but their "real" body is at another place (aka the same way you would´ve experience lag where a mob seems to be at one place but in reality stands somewhere completely else. Hope I´m not to un-clear with what I´m trying to say)

You mean the dremora that has that channeling fireball attack that deals ton of damage? I had not problem bashing them just yesterday. Is this consistent with your experience or random occurrence?
Could be I am lucky or could have different reason (like weapon used or something)

It's random, at least i cant find the cause. It happens quite often, but not consistently.

I find they are bashable more often than not, but I have definitely experienced the issue you're talking about. It has happened to me on the final boss of Theatre of Despair, too.

Edit: it just happened to me on a world boss in Bangkorai. It took 2-3 bashes to interrupt Woodblight. I was not out of range, as the bash consumed stamina (so it must have connected). Woodblight was not CC immune, as I had not bashed her or otherwise CCed her yet. So this might not be limited to vMA.

Is this only recently? I never had a problem when I was doing Maelstrom.

But the other day I was doing cradle of shadows and I could not always interrupt those adds that spawn and chain tank down. Standing on them spamming bash and nothing at times.

It's a known bug.. one for the miles long list of bugs in this game that will never get fixed.

I've notice the same thing, but as someone posted before, it looks like their "hitbox" is out of sync with their actual bodies in your screen.

In my last runs I just desperately aim a little bit to the sides of the body I see to get the interrupt.

But is is super annoying. I'm not Flawless, but Stage 8 was NEVER an issue in any character and now it is the place that is eating most of my vitality.

Exactly. Weird is that this bug is completely new, i haven't had it once until May, it started with Morrowind.

Exactly. Weird is that this bug is completely new, i haven't had it once until May, it started with Morrowind.

it started with homestead on xbox as far as i know
