Minimum Level to Go Through Dungeons

I have 2 CP300-ish characters, but I'm also leveling up several more characters. Is it unreasonable to try and queue up and go through a group dungeon with the lower level ones? (They are level 32 Altmer Templar, level 6 Breton Sorceror, & level 18 Breton magblade)? Will that help me gain XP faster? Will I just be automatically kicked from the normal dungeons? I should also add that I don't really know that much about going through dungeons - I've only run Fungal Grotto I once a long while ago.

As long as you meet the minimum level for each dungeon you can go into any. You won't gain or miss out on exp; it is based on you char's level, not other group members. The lowest level you can be is 10 for using group finder, so you lvl 6 won't qualify.

The normal 1 dungeons are the easiest, followed by normal 2 then vet. I believe vet gives you more exp, but you need to be level 50 to qualify, but I haven't reached that level yet.

You may get kicked by the occasional high level selfish player, but most will be fine. It's a good way to make friends too.

Random normals are a great source of experience, though they can only be done once a day, plus you get skillpoint for completing dungeons' quest and Undaunted xp so it's win-win imo. You should generally be fine in normals, I mean normals are supposed to be for non cp players(and you have 300 cp to back you up too so you're a lot stronger than a true non cp player), just try to not stand in red and slot some semblance of relevant skills(taunt for a tank, heals for healer, some damage one for a dps, preferably some aoe ones to damage multiple enmies and some single target for bosses. It's amazing how many people don't do that) and you should be fine ;)

Dungeons I are really easy, dungeons with no number in their name(other than dlc dungeons) also tend to be pretty easy but longer, dungeons II tend to be a bit more difficult and possibly have some mechanics you have to follow, dlc dungeons(Imperial City Prison, White-Gold Tower, Ruins of Mazzatun, Cradle of Shadow, Falkreath Hold and Bloodroot Forge) are the hardest and do have mechanics you have to follow. They're all totally doable at your level(s) (well, other than the level 6 one ;) ) but it might be a good idea to mention it's your first run and you may need some mechanics explanation, especially if you get a dlc dungeon. Most people are happy to help. There will be an occasional wannabe elitist kicking you or ragequitting himself upon getting a dlc dungeon but that's on them, not you.

Oh and @luton0watford4, vets don't give you more xp. Well I haven't been tracking exact numbers - I know for sure random normal/vet is same xp, dungeon quest is same xp, think pledge is same xp, and pretty sure mobs and bosses also give either the same or very close xp(which doesn't matter anyway because it's really insignificant).

Oh? Do they not? You can do random normals more than once a day, but you get less exp after the first one.

You can start normal dungeons at level 10... Dlc ones might be tricky but if your group is willing to learn theyre still doable.

I do it on my rerolls and can tank/heal or dps more than some of the pu :)

Great source of skill points and undaunted xp

Some people dont like it, but most time if you do your job, nobody cares :)

Random normals are a great way to level up as they give ok XP plus a skill point for the first run.

I wouldn't expect to see you get kicked unless you group with 3 other players less than 20 high.

Same exact xp for random normal and vet. Literally the very same system with same numbers - you can only do one random a day, be it vet or normal, for full reward, then you can keep running either of them for lesser one if you want.

Thank you all so much for all the help!

Edit: I wanted to update that boyfriend and I queued up dungeon finder last night with two toons we are leveling up, got grouped with two other lower levels and ran through Fungal Grotto II & absolutely killed it. We had a blast and picked up some sweet gear to boot! :)
