How to solo farm with stamblade

agaupig
agaupig
For me it is extremely difficult to solo farm with stamblade
I went to skyreach many times, how to maintain hp??
If I wear 7 heavy armor -short of resources
If I wear 7 medium or 5+1+1, -die soon

Any suggestion here for stamblade solo farm?

You shouldn't solo grind, especially on a class known for being squishy.

Vigor should not be your only healing, if you use 2h then use rally, if you use dual wield use rend, bloodthirst, etc, use things like empowering sweep for damage reduction, use repentence, etc.

EDIT: Ignore my nonsense about repentance, empowering sweep, apparently without coffee I do things like read 'stamblade' as 'stamplar'.

NBs don't have access to Empowering Sweep nor Repentance, to be fair.

For stam, you have Vigor and Rend. Those two skills should be just fine. Pop a few pots with health if needed.

ETA: And Rally. You can use that, too, as has been suggested.

ETA2: For Christ's sake, use Deadly Cloak if you aren't already!

Vengeance of the leech set and steel tornado work pretty good for farming groups of stuff on a stamina nb i always just pull everything in the room and mow it all down at the same time also if you got the passive where you gain ultimate for killing undead from the fighters guild you can generate ultimate quick and putting devouring batswarm on as your ultimate is a good heal while you are aoeing everything down this works really well with a stamina sorcerer with hurricane and crit surge the heals you get are good plus alot of stamina return from vengeance of the leech as long as you bunch everything up and kill them together i also use this setup on my stamina nb seems to work pretty well

its pretty hard but some tips-
every class can do skyreach - but u just gotta know what ur doing. id advise using a 2hand and bow

back bar- this is ur healing buff far
caltrops, hail, vigor, grim focus and another skill to make u tankier- ur choice- for ultimate- use meteor to wipe out mobs and quickly weapon swap back to front bar to get xp on that bar.

front bar- 2hander- this is essentially ur levelling bar
skill 1- rally- for ur heals and to stay alive
skill 2- brawler- spam this- the shield will keep u alive and dps the mobs

    skill 3
    skill 4
    skill 5 -
ultimate - are all your levelling skills- i put what i want to level in those slots- so something like hidden blade, rearming trap, punture and dawnbreaker for example or your class skills.

ive got 10 toons- 8 of the orignal classes- mag and stam all fully levelld, undaunted all that- and stam blade was probably the hardest to skyreach grind. dual wield will do more damage- but ur gonna sacrifice heals and have to weapon swap too much- or use blood morphs which will kill ur aoe dps. this is the best way to do it with stam blade and stam dk- except stam dk also uses draw breath. u can also chuck in sap essence for a bit more damage and heals.
with this kind of setup u can clear skyreach by yourself in around 6 pulls easily if ur cp300+ maybe less.

Soloing on a Stamblade is extremely easy with 2H because of the high survivability and very high AOE DPS. Use a sharpened ravaging maul with weapon damage glyph and a Briarheart bow + full monster set of your choice, or use a maelsrom bow if you have it.

2H bar: flawless dawnbreaker + surprise attack + power extraction + brawler + reverse slice for any low health mob nearby. 5th slot could be Expert Hunter for the passive crit and weapon damage buff

Bow Bar: soul harvest + Vigor + caltrops + relentless focus + endless hail or barrage + leeching strikes

Isnt that a 3pc Cyrodiil set? You can get that through one of the special gear merchants in one of the capturable towns using Alliance Points, but its RNG based so you have to keep buying them until it gives you what you want.

Otherwise you might find them in major guild traders for cheapish, but not many people sell them since theyre easy to get yourself, and by easy i mean have enough AP to spend and your faction owns the merchants town.

Stamina Nightblade is super easy to solo.

There's a whole stack of abilities in there that self heal while doing notably good damage.

    Examine this leveling build...

To be honest, deadly cloak + vigor makes it completely doable, I've farmed skyreach solo with my stamblade. Leeching strikes also gives you health every time you light attack now, on top of stamina, so you should try to light attack weave between steel nados (you should between everything, tbh).

Efficient ? Hell no, it's the least efficient thing you can do, just pair up with someone, possibly a magblade with destro ulti. That's 10% xp bonus + destro ulti spam for maximum killage.

The way you survive with vigor is by remembering you need to recast it every 6 seconds.

My vote for Rally+Brawler combo. I've been using it for long time to level up stamblades. Make sure that stam regen is high enough. Start with Rally. Reuse it sparingly for burst heal. Spam Brawler instead. With a bit kiting most of the damage sinks into the Brawler's damage shield.

For even higher survivability there are few tricks. But using them eat away skill slots from leveling.
    • Keep up Siphoning Leeching Strikes and weave Brawler with light attacks.
    • Use shadow skill like Refreshing Path to trigger major resists. Path also gives mobility.
    • Use Siphoning ulti to stun mobs. Swap to other bar where is Assassin ulti to collect ulti points back when mobs die. Needs big enough packs to work.

Solo grinded on my stamplar in orsiniums large dungeons without an issue. Never died even when solo.

To OP, DW is probably a little more effective against trash mobs that jabs. Keep repentance on the bar. Use the DW skill to reduce AoE damage taken.

Oh, and pay attention to what the mobs are doing so you move out if any conal damage and block anything heavy.

There are two main routes I go:

    2H

    FRONT BAR - 2H
    Brawler - Gives Damage Shield
Rally - Heals and Major Brutality
Killer's Blade - Good for quick heals on targets that are almost dead
Reaper's Mark - Throw on a low health target and let him die for major heal
Leeching Strikes - Keeps your resources and health up

    BACK BAR - Bow
    Caltrops
    Endless Hail
    Whatever else you want

    DW

    FRONT BAR - DW
Blood Craze - DoT and Heal
Bloodthirst - Heal as you dps
    Steel Tornado - AoE dps
Killer's Blade - Good for quick heals on targets that are almost dead
Reaper's Mark - Throw on a low health target and let him die for major heal

BACK BAR - Bow (AoE and Bugg Bar)
    Caltrops
    Endless Hail
Leeching Strikes - Keeps your resources and health up
Vigor - I feel it's a nice emergency heal if you get too low, too fast
    Whatever else you want

There are multiple sets you can use to keep up resources and/or help you heal. I do find it much more difficult to sustain on my Stamblade vs certain other classes.

I played solo all of the base game except Craglorn and trials and vet dungeons; and DLC up through Morrowind on a stamblade DW/DW with nothing but Blood Craze, Bloodthirst, and Reaper's Mark for healing. Once Orsinium came out I occasionally equipped the Briarheart set for some extra heals. Just mark the weakest enemy and focus it down while doing as much AoE as possible. Then get that mark on the next closest to dead guy and repeat.

Can be rough at times and sometimes you're just praying for more adds to spawn so you have something to mark. Wouldn't recommend it but I guess it does teach you how to block, dodge, roll dodge, and avoid damage in any way possible.
