Too many dead npcs in Vivec City. Zos, Please broaden the range and methods to obtain these "pickpocket only" items. I'm not even trying to get them, I'm just sick of all the corpses. Thanks.

In the murder capital of the Mundus, in the murder dlc, I'd have to be "something else" to complain about murders.

I know the Morag Tong is in Vvardenfell, but dang is there anyone left to place contracts if everyone is dead?

If you've done some of the Vvardenfell quests this isn't too difficult to rationalise...
It is safe to surmise that almost all of the dead NPC's you are seeing in Vivec were killed using the BoW by members of the Dark Brotherhood.

We have been told that the Morag Tong is now officially back in business.

So, the Night Mother is mightily displeased, and this *** of killing is just a turf war, assassin style.

One could speculate that at some point in the near future a Dark Brotherhood Silencer will be tasked to kill a certain senior member of the Morag Tong. Now, there's a red dialogue choice to look forward to.

QED. No loss of immersion. It's all within the narrative of the game ( and even if it turns out that this isn't true it's still an explanation that is very easy to believe for now).

Honestly I think we need to increase the amount of guards, or their strength, because the amount of senseless slaughter on the streets is ridiculous. Or allow us to somehow call a guard if we see a murder.

The Dark Brotherhood only kill those who have been directly targetted through the performance of the Black Sacrament. The Morag Tong only kill those who have been directly targetted through Contracts sanctioned by the highest echelons of the Great Houses.

There is no turf war. These arent some street thug.

Zos responde with, so you want more NPC's in vardenfell to pickpocket/kill and less guards ok right on it!

How is that? Nirn needs our superior culture to educate and subjugate. I believe it is the N'wahs we need less of. Someday, this great dream will come to reality.

I think that this problem can be solved easily by altering NPC respawn time and inventory respawn time. Now it's much faster to simply kill NPC, but if their inventory will respawn a bit faster, then killing them will become inefficient.

Have you done the Dark Brotherhood quest line? I have.
I remember that repeatable quests sometimes involved killing a number of random people in a specified location. How would the vestige know whether or not such a contract has been requested and accepted?

As part of its turf war with the OotH (remember that?), Dark Brotherhood quests involve the indiscriminate killing of many members of the enemy organisation, both high and lowly. No Black Sacraments are involved in those killings.

IIRC TES3:Morrowind lore says that the DB and Morag Tong were deadly rivals from the second era onwards. Perhaps it starts here.

Whatever. I was only trying to help by suggesting that people maintain immersion by using their imagination to rationalise what they see going on inside the game.
