Obligatory First vMA Complete Post

I did it on my stam sorc, finally. If anyone wants to know I was simply running hundings, spriggans with blue jewelry, velidreth with one off trait in 5 medium and 2 heavy, nothing special and a ways from bis. Though I am at CP cap. Last round took me about two hours to beat as I'd gone up until that point and left the quest sitting for a month or so. When I finally beat him it went very quickly. Dropped down from the top, defense sigil, power sigil, gold ghost stun, bursted him down in no time. All in all only went through about 20 tri pots on that last round. Will I ever get flawless? I doubt it. Will I go farm it again? Probably. Thanks to various content creators and streamers who have helped me with guides and builds, especially @Lukums1 for the guides he has put up and of course @Alcast for getting me started in the game and always being a good point of reference for pve builds.

Tips for those yet to complete the last round:
1. For the love of the gods interrupt the archers about to focus aim you
2. Get your rhythm for destroying crystals, even when you can't outright burn one. When you're following the stone shield leave dots on the ones you pass and for stam users drop a rearming trap on those crystals. It helps burst them down a lot faster.
3. Also for stam users, on your first clear you might benefit from using the interrupt morph of poison arrow. It made interupting Voriak a lot easier and you often get random interrupts on adds which I felt was useful.
4. Above all DO NOT let Voriak get a gold ghost.

What did I get? Good ol' one hand and shield.

If you really want to get flawless I recommend reading Joy's guide for flawless. He explains it through the prospective of a magplar, but I was easily able to translate that to a stam sorc. I got my flawless using 5 Black Rose (Impen because I already had it)/5 VO/vMA weapons. Heavy armor gives you so much leeway it's actually kind of cheesy. I would recommend getting the spawn points down first because you'll want to burst down mobs as fast as possible because you'll be sacrificing some damage.

I never thought I'd get flawless either but I got good enough to get my runs down to 1-3 deaths. I got sick of falling just short and having a few flawless runs ruined due to bugs. I threw on that heavy armor and got it in my second try, first try I died with the last boss at 8% health because my sprint button got stuck and before I realized it I was out of stamina.

I do need to get VO gear that's something I haven't finished doing. Think I'm missing like 1 necklace or something. I guess the stam return would let me use heavy armor? I tried heavy and ran out of resources way to fast.

VO is huge for sustain, especially in vMA. Not only the stamina returned on kills but the 8% cost reduction. Plus Black Rose is another sustain set. In that set up I had fantastic sustain and survivability and the damage wasn't that bad either. Weapon damage was over 3k unbuffed and over 50% crit (Would've been about 45% if I wasn't a Khajiit).

Congrats! I couldn't beat VMA before the Morrowind update to save my life. After the Morrowind update, I tried it out with my new gear setup.

5 Julianos, 5 War Maiden, 1 Chokethorn, Thief Mundus, Tri Max Stat Food, Tri Pots, Sharpened Destro/Defending Resto on my Argonian Magblade.

I got stuck on the boss on the Ice stage before Morrowind.

When Morrowind dropped, I killed it first try, and trailblazed through the rest.

I went back the next day for my second ever try, and got over 400k score, landing me in the top 100 on the leaderboard.

Loot was Infused Flame staff, Defending Lightning staff from run 1-2 respectively. Leaderboard rewards were Sharpened Sword and Reinforced Shield, with an infused belt for one of the light sets.

Regarding stam flawless runs - had a blast with blackrose impen, vma dual daggers, agility and skoria - when I was still a console peasant... Couldn’t believe how easy it was.
