Melee weapon types and new traits and mundus changes
Hello again. Does anyone use melee weapons other than swords or daggers? I realise that crit and damage are optimal for bursty damge types. But what exactly do the other weapon types do and what makes them a poor choice? How could they be made more viable (and could it be achieved now that traits and mundus have been tweaked?)
First of all, could someone make sure I have the correct weapon EFFECTS please? This is what I think they are:
Sword = weapon damage
Dagger = increased critical (chance or damage though?)
Axe = bleeding (if this is true, only cleanse/purging will stop it instantly ?)
Mace/Maul = increased phys penetration
If someone could verify these for me, what would be the optimal trait and mundus combo tomake each one viable? Many thanks in advance.
