Xbox 360/PS4 vibration feature

Hello, I've been playing ESO with Wired Xbox 360/PS4 controllers and it works, but the vibration is not working, despite the fact I've marked the option to have vibration. Is it actually working and what do you have to do in order to make it work, is there a workaround of sorts?
