You are confused. The console updates are set in stone well before they are actually released. This is due to Sony and Microsoft, not ZOS. The Poison Injection bug was not discovered until after the console patch was all set. They'll patch it as soon as they can, but they can't do that immediately because (again) Sony and Microsoft policy make it impossible to just patch the game as soon as ZOS would like.
7-day PVP campaign regular 2016-2019, Flawless Conqueror. MagDK/stamplar/stamwarden/mageblade. Requiem, Legend, Knights of Daggerfall. Currently retired from the wars; waiting on performance improvements.

If they was made aware before the update was released this was a issue and they already fixed it on pc i'm sure they could of also fixed this before the update came out on console seems like they was just being lazy to me

2 weeks? try the ENTIRE morrowind update for the dawnbreaker bug. Literally like 5 months of a bug making my ulti garbage and dodge-able most of the time.. While zenimax just let it sit there.

Idk what you mean by garbage damage but i hope if this is a bug it isnt on xbox. Probably is though.. This is the kind of company we have.. One that lets an ability like dawnbreaker stay broken for so many months.. If this is a bug we wont see a fix til clockwork city.

Imagine it this way. You need two to three weeks to order a bunch of donuts for a party. Any less time, and the bakery will tell you "forget it". So, a week before the party you're told someone can't eat chocolate donuts. Oh poop, you ordered all chocolate! Better call up the bakery and-

    Too late.

Yes, obviously a bakery won't care too much, but Sony and Microsoft do. They need to know, line for line, what is going into the game. Any change to that could put ZOS in legal jeopardy, or even get the game taken off of console.

So, poison injection bug, or pay the legal fees? I'd rather the bug.

Can we dispel the 2 to 3 week stuff here?

It's one week everyone... just one. If you notice, everything what was in the pc patch 2 weeks ago is addressed in what was released to consoles today...

What isn't addressed is what was fixed yesterday... yesterday...

I think most people that were following the issue knew it wouldn't be resolved on console (if you did...)

    Think of it this way...

Poison injection may not work right, but console will have stupid broken OP maw of the Infernal for several weeks...

    Yes. Stop repeating this fallacy.

Infallible is not bugged on console, is it? And it was fixed on PC one week after the initial patch.

When they want, they include bugfixes on console patch.

And yes, it is probably 45 days until next incremental until a bug that actually benefits us is discovered. Then they will fix it in 1 week.

The Infallible bug was documented within minutes of HoTR going live on pc, Only when ZOS were pushed into a corner to fix a serious exploit did they decide to kill two birds with one stone and fix Infallible at the same time as the exploit, if that exploit had not shown itself then Infallible would not have been fixed until yesterday.

    Man....

The 'exploit' that was fixed was a separate maintenance to resolve, not the incremental patch that was deployed on Monday of last week...

Also, several other bugs/issues that were included in that patch are on console. So just please stop.

I'm not trying to defend ZOS or their actions, as I am typically very critical of them, but in this case, its just a lot of misinformation and feelings and not substantial facts.

'starship trooper' and 'the moon is a harsh mistress' are both masterpiece sci fi canon - what I really enjoyed was Heinlein's views on citizenship and politics in those two novels...

plus, he paints a pretty darn good picture with words :)

Not going to lie to you, the political commentary was interesting (we laugh at real world state controlled media, but not this over the top stuff xD) and a great counter to "its all for the best of humanity" views such as in the halo franchise and it's UNSC (minus ONI, anyway), but I simply liked it for the copious amount of brass sent down range at alien bugs >:D

Edit: need to watch the other movie you mentioned, now!

I main a Stamblade in PVP so this is could be a major issue for me. Is it just the "Execute" portion that's broken, or is the whole skill messed up? I'm already beyond squishy, so burst damage is pretty much all I have going for me and with the exception of Snipe (which has a delay) all other bow skills are multiple target - making them kinda useless in PvP

BTW I think 2 weeks might be optimistic to put it mildly, based on history.

The damage doesnt scale once its applied. Meaning if you apply above 50%, you wont get increasing ticks as the health lowers

Console patches are simply delayed. The time between PC one and console one is not some free time that can be used to make change. They are set at ~same time as the PC one.

There used to be 2 week gap, given it takes 5-10 days to get approval for release, they had some days to fix early found bugs. Now they have none.

So basically bow has no execute atm until further notice @ZOS_GinaBruno can you at least give us an idea when this will be fixed seeing how you guys broke something that was working fine last night and you guys was already aware of it and didn't include the fix before consoles update today

I would just like for them to at least give us an idea when the next patch will be released for console since they broke poison injection on console this update and could of fixed it before the update was released but chose not to put it into the console update forcing console players to wait weeks for a fix

    LMFAO HE SAID "2 WEEKS"

Remember how long dawnbreaker/streak was broke?????????

More like 3-6 months and then something else will be broken.

I'm a PVE roleplayer concerned about my vampires stage 4 skin tone and keep getting load screens so I came here to distract people from major issues with a rant thread about my characters cosmetic appearance.
