I know, I know, Hybrids aren't meta... Well, I play my own way. I'm practically un-killable in PVE situations... Always the last to drop in group and even then everyone is waiting a couple minutes.

It takes forever for me to kill World Boss's. I'm hacking away for like, 15 minutes at any given boss.

So this dude running the same build as mine, which is julianos and lich, he said he pulled over 50k dps. If course it's b.s. cause it's my PvP build and you can't pull off much dps with that.
So I ask for screenshot and offered to let him use my target skeleton. He kept dodging the subject.
Have you caught anyone lying about their dps time?

- You cannot stand still up to the enemy's chest for entire fight. Enemies are mobile and actually fight back.
- There are mechanics, AoE attacks, and/or mobs that must be avoided - these WILL disrupt rotation.
Target Skeleton parses are very nice and informative. They allow us to test a ton of stuff and make cool, effective builds under controlled conditions.
.... it just sucks that people with big egos feel like they have to prove something by putting out their inflated DPS parses that are in no way representative of how they perform when doing actual content. NO ONE CARES ABOUT HOW MUCH DPS YOU DID TO THE TARGET SKELETON. The people who are obsessed with showing off the DPS are almost always perform terribly in dungeons/trials.

What a pleasant surprise, I have a hybrid Templar too!
8k is a little low even for a hybrid, I suggest you get some penetration in there if you haven't. My hybrid is pulling a varying 16k DPS minimum. What's important is to constantly reapply buffs and rotations perfectly so you'll get good DPS numbers.
