[PS4/NA] Emote glitch in PvP?

Last night was my first experience of this glitch (exploit) in Imperial City. I'm running along with my guild taking flags and fighting district bosses. I guess I became a little lax since we hadn't run into any enemy players for a while, and strayed from the group (not far, mind you) to clean up a few npcs, and WHAM! I just drop dead, no warning, no way to retaliate, just straight dropped. I never knew there was such a thing until my guild members told me what it was. How does this work and why has it not been addressed some how? From the way my more active PvP members tell me this has been going on since day one. Is there no way to fix it?

Glitching emotes so there is no snipe animation is very real and still happens. Only few people knew how to do it in the first place. It still happens with snipe.PS4 NA DC0 -
