Can we get an option to change our guild's name?

Like many players I made my own guild, but unlike others, I had an incredibly AWESOME name (not going to say it because I'm still hoping we'll get this change, so can't have anyone stealing it). The problem is, one of my friends made his guild, and I helped it become successful. Unfortunately, he had to leave, and because of my help, he made me the guildmaster, but I had to abandon my guild (I never had the time to grow it because I was always busy with the other guild). While the guild is successful, many others in the guild agreed that the name I proposed was much better. We only wish that the name could be changed.

Put in a ticket with ZoS, they will let you change the guild name. We've changed our guild name twice, working on a third.

Wow. Surprised Zos is leaving cash on the table. Nice they help like that.

Indeed, there is more profit to be made there... guild rename tokens in the crown store, anyone?

And while we're at it... guild unlock tokens, for those tiny "circle of friends" guilds who don't want to invite random strangers, but still would like to enjoy the benefits of guild bank, heraldry or vendor... I mean, why not let them pay for it as a "convenience issue" instead?

It's good in one sense (personal convenience) that character and guild names can be changed, but not in the sense that it enables players (and yes, some guilds in MMOs) to escape their reputation - as with the anonymity of the internet generally, it's all about freedom these days and never about taking responsibility. I think the main thing is to make it a paid-for service that both covers the cost of administration while also setting the charge at a level that deters casual or frequent usage.
