Item Storage and Display in Housing Discussion - Possible Implementations

I've been thinking about the potential for item storage in housing, and how it will be implemented. The first thing that comes to mind is just having a chest object, that will function as a 'second banker' or sorts, allowing you to store and retrieve items from it in addition to the inventory/bank/guild bank storage slots. This is definitely a useful idea, and would be welcome if implemented.

I was also thinking of another possible type of storage container that could be added to housing. Instead of a generic trunk, you could have certain types of display items that also store inventory items. For instance, a bookshelf that starts out empty, but is interactable similar to a bank. You can deposit book items into it, and it will automatically add them to the shelves as readable books. You could populate your library with all the lorebooks from the mage's guild and still have enough item slots to fill the rest of a house.

You could do similar with weapon/armor racks or mannequins to display weapons and armor. I feel that one of the biggest things missing from furnishings is the ability to make an armory/barracks, and having usable armor/weapon racks would go a long way to implementing one.

This could be expanded to include other item types as well. Perhaps a mount board, and a new type of treasure drop from enemies in the wild. You kill enough deer, win the favor of RNGeesus, and you get an antler treasure that can be added to the mount board and displayed in your home. Repeat for bears, wolves, other creatures.

Getting a bit more complicated would be food containers. You can make models for all the various foods in the game, and add them to a plate or bowl container to display the meals. There could also be display cases that take stolen treasure items (or any items, really) and display them.

This is just some ideas about possible ways to implement storage and make housing more personal and alive. Hopefully you guys can add to or suggest better ways to accomplish this kind of stuff, and hopefully ZoS is already working on it.
