I bought my first copy of ESO outside of Steam; all the files are already installed on my computer.
I just bought a second copy of ESO for $10 on Steam, because that's dirt cheap and the extra bag/bank space was too good to pass up.
I made a second ESO account; when I log in to the ESO site, it doesn't show it as being linked to any version/copy of the game. I'm attempting to link it to the Steam copy I bought, but I don't have any "game registration" code; I just have a transacation code from Steam for the purchase, but that doesn't work.
My question is this: since the game is 75+ gigabytes now, I'd rather not download the entire game a second time since the files are already installed on my computer; is there a way to
a) Link the Steam version of the game to the second ESO account, and
b) be able to login with the second/Steam account credentials to the regular launcher/game that's already installed on my computer?
