And yes it was a struggle, it took me months, hundreds of soulgems, repair kits, gold for repairs, frustration and irritation and lots of different gearsets and skills try outs.

Stage 5, 6 and 7 are real bottlenecks, but the final boss a nightmare compared to the rest of Vma in my opinion.

I completed on a pet Sorc btw.

As an older player (43) hearing this gives me hope! I can't even beat the first wave yet with my Templar Healer...normal is easy. Veteran, insanity!! Still gleaning info off the forums on how to beat. I'll get there!!

if you need info about beating VMSA and set up ect i sugest this guy

@Lukums1 you can check out his links and ask him questions he will help you out with VMSA , don't give up just try to finish one stage at the time

I beat it for the first time last night. Age 48. This was on a magDK.

The final boss was a struggle. Not fun at all but every attempt was a little step closer to getting the technique down. There was one time where I got to the third stage and every gold ghost spawned right on top of the boss. Boom.

I was 'rewarded' with an infused sword and reinforced shield.
