Help With Sunderflame Tank Build
Here's a scenario I've been thinking of trying on my tank ever since I picked up a Sunderflame shield the other day. I could run Sunderflame jewelry, sword and shield, slot a crusher enchant on my infused weapon and bring resistances way down. Each Stam DPS friend I know would slot other things like weapon damage in place of physical penetration and get perhaps a 12% consistent DPS buff.
I thought it would be best to pick the theorycrafter brains on on the forums with suggestions about other sets and skills that would help a Sunderflame Tank Build. I've got a DK.
But then I remembered that most of them don't have Maelstrom bows. This setup would focus on a single target and it would effectively reduce their AOE DPS by 12% which begs the question, will Sunderflame slow down rather than speed up 4-player vet DLC dungeons where trash mobs have very high health and some of your group members aren't slotting steelnado or anything like it? It really seems like most of the dungeon time is spent killing lesser mobs rather than bosses.
It would likely cause a 2% drop to AOE DPS, but the single target gain should outweigh the AOE loss.
