2min+ logins, 1min+ loading screens, double and now even TRIPLE loading screens since Morrowind...

So, I've waited a long time to create this thread waiting for the game's performance (on Xbox/NA) to get better after Morrowind, but almost 3 months later, I don't think it will. So here it goes...

It is common knowledge that the game's performance on consoles in general (maybe worse on the original Xbox) was never good. But after Morrowind, some things just became atrocious on that platform.

Logging into a character that used to take 30~45 seconds now easily takes 2 or more minutes. Sometimes 3 if you are in a busy place.

Traveling to any region with a busy city (Stormhaven, Reaper's March, Craglorn, Deshaan) used to take 25~40 seconds, but now almost always takes more than 1 minute, sometimes 2.

As if taking 3-4 minutes to even start the game is not enough, you can constantly get a SECOND 1min+ loading screen on those busy cities just a couple of seconds after you start moving after the previous long loadings.

But this is not over. Now in Wayrest, Belkhart and Daggerfall you can even get a THIRD 1min+ loading screen seconds after you start moving out of the SECOND (I recorded a video of this last night in Wayrest. Had 11 minutes of Psijic left, lost almost 6 just for traveling to Wayrest and trying to ride out of it. I can PM to mods if needed).

Not only that, Stablemasters and Bankers are Pledge Givers are taking 30 seconds to spawn at all and be interactable, instead of the old 10~15 seconds

It might not seem like much, but the simple act of switching to another character for a pledge can easily take 10 minutes of loading screens to actually start the dungeon. TEN MINUTES. Between logging out one character (1-2min), logging in the right one (2min), traveling to capital city (1min), getting a second loading screen (1min), waiting for givers to spawn (30 seconds), traveling to dungeon (1min), traveling out of dungeon (1min), getting second loading screen (1min), waiting for givers to spawn (30 seconds)... And that is if you don't crash because of duelers using Meteor in Wayrest while you are using the menu...

Before Morrowind, I used to do Writs on 8 characters on Rawl'kha, delivering on Craglorn, and it used to take me around 35-38 minutes. Since Morrowind, the fastest the same exact routine took was 1 hour and 10 minutes. To the point where I wanted to stop.

And because of the way the game is designed, you end up staring at loading screens all the time, no matter what you do. You HAVE to deliver Writs in Craglorn, you HAVE to get and deliver pledges on one Capital, you HAVE to travel to buy a lot of stuff, you HAVE to see a loading screen for every instanced thing. The loading screens are EVERYWHERE.

So, please, take a look at the huge increase in loading screen time Morrowind brought to Xbox (don't know if it applies to other platforms). It is making it really hard to want to play the game when all you get to do is sit idle waiting for loading screens to end.
