You could also buy them and save the time. Unless you want sharpened weapons the pieces are cheap since BSW is considered better anyway on a magDK.

Well there could be a legit reason for farming gear for a level 10. PvP on the non vet campaign. But then I don't think you really need Silks of the Sun for that, Julianos works fine as well.

You get more raw spell damage with Silks. But Julianos affects your heal abilities too. It's not as clear cut as one might think.

Wear what you want but seriously don't waste your time farming level 10 gear, suck it up and grind your way to 50 then to 160. Or you will just end up farming that perfect setup again.

Just use AP on the boxes in cyrodiil, I've gotten sharpened staffs, swords, purple rings ect from them.

Exactly, i have 2 complete crafted 'training' sets in my bank Lvl 8, one for magicka (julianos + torugs) and one for stamina (cant remember which ones right now ), i level up my toons up to lvl 50 without changing gear, just by rolling in Alik'r desert or some other grinding areas. It takes no time really if you go with a partner.

I only suggest you to do this if you already have other characters and you already know the basic game mechanics. Otherwise, if it's your first character, even taking longer, i would suggest you to level up by questing and progressing in a map area until you complete it (quests, main quests, delves, public dungeon, skyshards, world bosses, dolmens and lorebooks... is that all? I think it is...) and then move to the next one.
Yes, it takes longer indeed, but you will make sure that when you hit level 50 you will have enough Skillpoints and a solid knowledge about mechanics and your character combat skills ready to enjoy big raids and veteran stuff being comfortable.

    Cheers!
    Comrade, a word...

At level 10 I would not be that concerned. You will out level the gear faster than you can farm an entire set. It really is not that important to min/max at such a low level though I respect your interest.
    Really, idk

Agreed with all of the above. Don't farm gear at that level or any level but 50 cp 160. Join a beginner friendly guild, have someone craft you a main five piece training set at say level 10 then again at level 30 and maybe once more at level 40. But it's up to you.

I'm not sure if you will find what you are looking for, my guild specializes in low level items. Click on Kynes Merchant on my signature for more info. We currently have a trader in Evermore ( PC/ NA ) you can take a look at.

Why waste 12 hours on gear you're going to grow out of quickly anyways? In that time you could've gotten to level 50+.
Best to get a crafted training set every 10 or so levels and grind to 50 (I assume you're on an alt character.) What gear you have in the overworld stuff doesn't matter since it's the easiest content.
Silks is still a good set but this patch Burning Spellweave does more damage.

Sorry for not being more constructive than the other posts here, but this just has to be said for 3 pages long:

Why even bother farming such gear for level 10? After twelve hours of farming, I'd already need new armor.

Well I enjoy non vet PVP as much as Vet so I level in there which takes a tad longer. Honestly though I got a full Red Mountain set in like an hour once.

And call me dumb for saying this but I don't really enjoy BiS or meta sets as I feel they're predictable and overdone for what they do. Like most Mag DK in Vet PvP are probably BSW, Valkyn, sword and board meta and to me that's boring. I like to experiment.

So my question is op , are you running to each of the three Dolmans in succession to maximize your time farming this jewelry or are you sitting at one domain waiting for it to spawn again ? Because the latter increases your odds over time by getting more Dolmans in .

I'm sitting at one. Would it be better if I ran round all 3?

Yes find out what order they are spawning and rotate in that order . After one dolman is completed another is spawning in each every zone . Maximize your grind time by following the order .

I am sorry, but why on earth are you farming a level 10 set? Also, 12 hours of grinding is nothing in this game. At level 10, you would be better off with a crafted regen set like seducer or magnus anyways. The only thing you should be doing for gear right now is researching traits.

    A few pieces of advice:

    1. DO NOT GRIND OR SPEND GOLD ON GEAR UNTIL YOU ARE CP 160. Sorry caps, but seriously, it's a waste. You out level it way too fast.
    2. If you want something that can be bought for gold, dont grind the item. Grind gold and buy it in the open market. You will almost always do better that way unless you get unusually lucky with RNG.
