Healer gear: Cant find SPC \ Worm Cult Boots (Divine)?

Hi guys just curious; I've been farming these two items for a while but I can't find them and nobody in the group can either? Anybody know how long they take?

I understand it's rng but I've done so many runs and nobody gets them to drop? Whaaaaat.

Also if you wanna farm either WGT or Vaults of Madness let me know. PS4, EU.

i have been farming both sets too on xbox for about a week.

i have had much better luck with worm gear than spc.

i got most of my worm gear (with good traits) within the first couple days (still trying to get a destro staff though).

Have only gotten a few good traits on spc and still need spc resto staff.

Yeah I just need boots in divine but they never drop. RNG really hates me

I farmed WGT for two months to get the traits I wanted, while I farmed I equipped the pieces with the wrong traits. For Worms, it took me maybe 10 runs total but that's because I ran it on vet and did the worms jewelry...much easier to get purple worm jewelry than purple SPC jewelry

I've found them OP, it's just RNG and you've been unlucky. Get a loot drop addon (if on PC) so you can see your teammates drops. Plenty of people will just trade you it for free if dropped.

The more you want them the less likely it is you'll get them. Such is the way of RNGesus. Praise be unto that SOB

Don't forget the vault chest in WGT, @WhoSlappedThePie ... the one you open with key fragments. There's a low chance for boots (divines) in there, too, amongst the other goodies.

Have they fixed the bit where swapping weapons for spc or worm drops/messes up the buffs? Its why I don't bother putting spc or worm here, not even spc/spc or worm/worm.

I don't have master resto or vma weapons though so a 1 piece monster could be slid in if spc/spc or worm/worm weapons work fine now.

What you're doing wrong is farming for BIS pieces...

Unless you have a lot of free time, the cost in time far exceeds the benefits. Not worth it.

this^^^ I got both by sets of my boots from the chests. ***if you are in a group of people opening the chest and all in the instance at the same time you can trade the chest drops just like the dungeon drops*** only helps if you each are looking for different items. Lol

You can get away with infused pieces as well. With the nerf to thief a lot of healers dont even run that anymore so divine doesn't help much unless you run something like mage, which is meh for healers. I run atro for now and peel off on divine if I feel like im having too much regen.

It took me 5 days of farming CoA1 to get divines Burning Spellweave boots, both soloing and with friends. Still don't have the purple necklace. Sure get a ton of Embershield necklaces though.

I went back to using Atronach. The extra resources really help, especially with the new DLC dungeons when PUGs panic and start running in every direction like crazed scared lunatics.

It took me about 15-20 hours of farming to get divines boots. Unfortunately that's not an exaggeration. In the end I still had to get them donated from a group member who got lucky with the drop.

Don't settle for infused boots as a final setup, it's just not worth to have infused on small pieces. As a temp thing, sure, it's ok, but it really cuts down on your regen from attro.

It's RNG. It took me about 80 runs to farm a 5pc set of BSW (body pieces only) when I was doing that. I needed around 20 runs just for the final piece.

Good luck with the worms destro (presuming its lightning you are after), i finally dropped mine (infused) after around 150 runs, call it 600 runs if you include the guys who were looking for it with me and the only one that dropped was the one i got... Make sure you kill everything as mine dropped from a trash mob where the deadroth boss is midway through the dungeon.

Ok so update. I have divine boots maybe creating this discussion let me find it. Weird... so I could use 2 big piece infused? Or all divine? Thanks

Julianos works. My build is a mix between that and Kragenoc I believe. Been awhile since I've played my healer. I never have magicka issues and people live.

@WhoSlappedThePie I only say to peel off divine if you are using atro and you have too much regen. Divine only increases the effect of your mundus. So peeling it off to where you are comfortable and using infused instead will give you a bit more magicka which in turn is effective spell power.

Ok thanks, next patch then is atro the best? What're people's thoughts?

It took me almost a year to finally get the gloves in divines. The rest of the pieces dropped no problem, but the gloves still haunt me, first run with reinforced, then infused dropped, months later divines. Mind you this was before group trading, so it was all on my RNG. FYI, i run infused on my big pieces, it's a noticeable increase in stats.

I have a full set of perfectly traited SPC from farming vWGT for four weeks. What was I actually there for? Two purple SPC rings...that have never dropped...not once. I have an addon that shows my teammates drops. They have been 100% nonexistent.

Your stats are virtually identical with either combo (I believe the total difference in DPS is around +0.5% for Infused on the heavy pieces, so most likely around the same in terms of healing effectiveness, aka completely insignificant). I prefer all divines just because it's neater.

@WhoSlappedThePie There are so many opinions on whats best to be honest. Just make sure you have the right amount of regen you are comfortable with and high enough spell damage and crit. Provide every buff and debuff and keep everyone alive as best as you can and you are set my man. Im not 100% on what I want to do when patch hits xbox haha... Ill just keep playing around with things.

Ok thanks for the feedback. I really can't deal with more WGT farm to change hat from infused to divine.

So I'll just keep it infused I guess. Using thief right now for higher crit heals but maybe change on the next patch. (Console pleb btw)
