Research still Broken?

I am trying to get my last research going on my alt crater and the game wont acknowledge that i have the item available nor an available slot It is not locked. It is in the characters inventory. I have 4/4 in carpentry and 2 item being researched at the moment in woodworking. It will not recognize that i have slots open. In fact it says that i am activly researching a Powered Resto staff. When i am not. It even gives me the option to cancel the research. which it wont. I disabled all research related addons. Any other suggestions? am i the only one still having research issues since this mornings patch?
