DW MagSorc - BIS combination of amor sets

Here are the sets I am thinking of:

War Maiden
Shacklebreaker
Amber Plasm
Shroud of the Lich
Spinner's Garment's
Law of Julianos

What would be the best combination out of these sets?
I prefer aggresive play-style

War maiden is only useful if the only damage you're dealing is magic damage. Since you're running swords which means no crushing shock, that may very well be the case

I personally don't see the need to run lich and would instead switch it out for amber plasm and then perhaps another damage set.

Also would not recommend Julianos for PvP

I second that, war maiden on DW for casting would be strong, if you're looking for a sustain set, try Lich or Amber Plasm, I doubt they would be that bad of a combo but you could always push the numbers further using more offensive sets.

Here is where I get conflicted because I cannot decide between War Maiden and Spinner's Set.
And btw why would you not reccomend Julianos for PVP?

Julianos not recommended for PvP because some of its main bonuses are spell crit, and stacking crit in PvP is usually not worthwhile because everyone is running impen armor.

If you are going for damage Spinner's or War Maiden under the correct circumstances would give better results.

The thing with War Maiden is its 5 piece bonus only applies to abilities that deal magic damage. That does not mean it applies to any ability that uses magicka.

So it is a less versatile set. Personally I think Spinner's is very good especially after the nerf to sharpened, running spinners has been the only way I've been able to take down tanks in a reliable manner thanks to the pen it provides. But I wouldn't write War Maiden off especially if you're running swords, but you'll want to make sure you're taking full advantage of the 5 piece bonus.

Personally I think running 1 sustain set and 1 damage set with either a 1 or 2 piece monster set depending on your preference (have to sacrifice a piece from another set for the 2 piece monster), is optimal for a mag sorc and I recommend amber plasm and also bloodthorn over lich, but that is personal preference. I prefer to have a little more damage than sustain.

also just one more thing to add if you do want to go the sustain route I also prefer seducer over lich. That's one I didn't see mentioned
