Hanging at loading screen...Since last patch.

It's random and is happening quite a bit. I never had this long of load times or stalling out during load screens. I still hear sound and all that, but sometimes it never seems to load and I don't ever feel like wasting minutes seeing if it ever does when I can just restart the game...

I did not have this problem before.

I am experiencing this as well. Infinite loading screens, only recently, since last patch or so.
Also, if it helps devs - I have been having particular trouble at Knife Ear Grotto in Deshaan.

The loading screens have been getting longer it seems. I've also had some issues with game rendering hitching when things are killed when I'm on my magicka nightblade. When only one thing dies game dreading store for a split second, but when multiple things die it's like watching a Power Point presentation. My stamblade, magicka sorc and dk tank seem to be unaffected.

There could be a couple of reasons why you are experiencing long loading screens in game. Here a few troubleshooting steps you can take that may help with loading screen times.

Remove Add-Ons:

1. Exit the game
2. Navigate to C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live in windows explorer
3. Rename Addons to Addons.old
4. Rename SavedVariables to SavedVariables.old

Add exceptions in anti-virus and firewall programs:

• Bethesda.net_launcher: C:\Program Files (x86)\ZenimaxOnline\Launcher
• ESO.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\ZenimaxOnline\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\eso.exe
• Steam.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe

For some anti-virus programs you may need to add entire folders as exceptions.

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\

Run a repair through the launcher:

1. Start The Elder Scrolls Online launcher.
2. Click on Game Option on top of the News section, and click on the option for Repair.
3. Allow the launcher to examine all the files for the game. This will take some time.
4. If any files are found to have problems, the launcher will re-download those files.

Since the maintenance patch, after many repairs to get the darn thing to load, after doing all the things listed by ZOS_BillE above, this is all I can see:

I can log in, but it then just spins... the longest it's gone for is 40 minutes before I force closed it.

Normally, after a patch, the shaders get rebuilt and I am wary of a long load screen as this happens. This isn't that.

I did a repair and restarted did not work until I restarted the computer

If none of the troubleshooting that was posted above has helped with the loading screen hanging, you should submit a support ticket. Be sure to include the troubleshooting you've done along with a game consultant report.

I'm suffering with the same problem after selecting a character, I can hear the game sounds but have a Load screen so I can't see my character but then I get the crash report screen pop up everytime. Been happening since update also.
