The best way to avoid indefinite loading screen and black screen upon exit

1. Allocate Virtual Ram, let system manage it.
2. Upgrade your system RAM to at least 16GB per DIMM.
My previous setup was 8x2GB (notebook computer). The game had tendency to become laggy whenever the system used up 8GB of RAM; However, due to some special nature of the application and how Windows utilize memory. The ESO process won't use the remaining space on the second; running the game process into scare of RAM but in fact it never did. Same theory applies to black scren / unresponsive destop after exit the game.

I eventually upgraded my RAM to 32GB 2x16. Now the system plus ESO application rarely use over 12Gigs and my game is able to run much longer without hassle. No indefinitely long loading screen / black screen since then.
Back from my last hiatus. 2021 a new start.

I also heard a possible solution such that forcing the process to use the space on second RAM by opening new applications. I've never tested.

    EDIT: blanked post.

I haven't used a page file in years. I have no problem closing the program and practically never get the infinite loading screen....
