No Poison Status Effect from Lethal Arrow

Hello,

Another little bug: Lethal Arrow does not apply the Poisoned status effect (despite skill description saying it should be guaranteed).

I tested this on another player today.

Bosmer player I believe, but that shouldn't matter (or if it does, that's another bug) as resistance should only reduce the damage dealt by Poisoned and not prevent it from happening entirely.

I use lethal arrow (a lot) and it DOES work for my build, or rather I see the tick on CMX log.

Are you by any chance running a poison on your bow? If so, disable the poison and see if it starts working. I noticed it seemed to stop interrupting casters when I had a poison equipped, but haven't tested any further to be 100% certain.

Can confirm that the Poisoned status effect does not apply from Lethal Arrow. There was previously a bug where you needed to be within a certain range for it to work, but now it just doesn't apply at all.

Well, there were some people that made some tests and results were the resistance does matter (makes you immune to secondary effects of such type). Personally I havent made any tests myself tho.

You could take the same player and test other poison damage if you manage to proc poisoned. To determine if it is lethal arrow related or the resistances related

For the record, I was screwing around with 2 different poison-based proc sets that each tick under their own names and a broken monster set (just a helm) , and had an Oblivion enchant on the bow which is on my main bar and rarely swapped with bow DoT active. Anyhow, I saw poison ticks that were not part of either set when Venom arrow was used. Had 3 different ticks going on at same time (not as strong as you might think tbh as you need other factors in play to get anywhere near the tool tip reported damage which can't happen with cp alone). One of those was definitely a a smaller poisont tick.

Wait, are you talking about Venom Arrow (DoT skill, Poison Arrow morph) or Lethal Arrow (Snipe morph)?

Because Venom Arrow (and Poison Injection, which is the morph I use) proc Poisoned status effect just fine.
