With that the captain runs out of the room.
Immediately King Jorunn storms out. "I am a warrior king, if I'm to die it must be in battle, not drowning at the bottom of the sea!" And they quickly hear the sound of the barrel hitting the water.
King Emric then gets up. "I am the wisest king in the land, it is vital to all of Nirn that I survive." And before anyone can say anything, he leaves, and again the splash is heard.
Queen Ayrenn says to the Vestige, "My people need me, but I know that you alone have the chance of saving us all from the tyranny of Molag Bal. As much as it pains me, you must take the last barrel so that you can save my people as well as all of Nirn from that tyrant."
The Vestige replies, "There's no need, your highness. The wisest king in the land just jumped overboard in a lead pot."20 -

✭An Ancestor Moth flies into the Fighter's Guild. The Weaponsmith stops in her work and says, "Can I help you?"
"Help me?" the Ancestor Moth says. "If only you could help me." The Ancestor Moth sighs heavily. "If only you could."
"Why? What's wrong?" she asks.
"Where do I even begin. My life is one long, endless string of bitter disappointment. I'm cursed with an empty existence which mocks the very notions of joy and proves that the purpose of life is to water the ground with endless tears. I'm forced to work a pointless job for the Moth Priests who are forever lording over me their petty authority, to make themselves seem the greater by making me feel as small as possible. They seem to devote their every waking moment to devising and inflicting trivial cruelties upon me, as if to see who among them can be the first to break my will. If only they knew that they had succeeded long ago in leaving me a hollowed out, husk of a being, as empty inside as the cocoon I once sprung from.
"And when my daily drudgery is finally over and they allow me a respite from their minor torments, I return to the squalid domicile that I am ashamed to even call my home. And even if it weren't a place that would shame the lowliest maggot to live in, that still would fail any true meaning of the word 'home,' for it is a dwelling without soul. My family has long since been broken, a state my wife never ceases to place squarely on my shoulders. And I can't argue with her, for I have surely failed to bring them the unity they need, so crushed am I by my burdens that I failed to see how their needs went unmet. When I look into the eyes of my children and see they look upon me with nothing but shame, it's all I can do not to burn our house down once and for all.
"But no, every day after miserable day I follow the same sorry rut that has been worn into the mud road of my life, eternally mired in an endless cycle of grief turning to despair, despair turning to darkness, and darkness turning to numbing apathy. My life is like I'm forever stuck under a wheel pressing me face forward in the dirt, smothering me but never having the decency to snuff out my life, and give me a release that I, coward that I am, cannot give to myself."
The Weaponsmith listens, and then says. "Well, that's rough, you definitely sound like you can use some help. But, you sound like you should go to a chapel, or even the healers at the Mage's Guild, why... why did you come here."
