Sending mail to multiple players

Is there a way to send in-game mail to multiple players, or to a group of players, for instance, all officers in a guild?

There is no official way to do this, but there is an addon that can send multiple mails to everyone in your guild, or you can sort by rank, friends list, etc. The name of the Addon is Shissu's Guild Tools. Caution, this addon does take up a lot of memory, can you can experience some lag, but it's worth it, especially as a Guild Leader.

Just search "Shissu's Guild Tools" on google, it'll come up right away.

MailR also does a similar function. I disable it except when sending guild mails though, due to frequent memory/UI error issues.

i see, thanks for followups...

I asked because I wanted to send msg to all the officers in my guild...seems to be a bit of an issue with guild banks at the moment...

if any of you are in any guilds, check your guild bank's gold balance...i'm only in one, and it shows -- (2 dashes)...others outside my guild are seeing similar on some but not all guilds...

i didn't notice it before, but per others, this was before last nite's maintenance rollback

never mind on the guild bank thing...seems it's a new guild bank option they added, so that only certain ranks can see the gold balance...

i was worried, thought they picked the wrong restore point last nite...<g>

I don't mass mail my entire guild, but I use an addon called Godsend to send mail to guild officers - you can pick which ranks get the mail. It's perfect for my needs and sounds as though it could be just what you want for your own officer-mailing requirements

I don't think the ability has always been there... maybe it has. But guild masters can choose who can and who can't see gold balance. Have you checked your permissions?

yeah, i just found out from my officers about the recent addition to guild settings, so there's no issue apparently...thanks very much
