They are the best for PvP and decent in PvE. So basically the best traits in general situations...

Penetration is stronger the less of it you have. Not running Major Breach/Fracture? Not getting other penetration buff from group memebers? If so, Lover provides the strongest mundus bonus. If you're near 18200 penetration already, then Lover is weaker than Apprentice/Warrior. Thief and Shadow have both been nerfed pretty hard, and so are less favorable now, though Thief can still be a decent choice if you have very low crit chance without it.

@Roach1990 - point is not if it's 3 mil or 6 or 52. And neither is this test for sustain DPS test. it was only done to see how much difference is in general in all mundus stones. on a bigger dummy with more controlled environment, it'll only become smaller...

I can do 6 mil ones and post them if you need. (just end me some wep dmg pots ) had enough wasted already

What would you say is a low crit without theif mundus?

@Destruent - no these are from live.

My setup was 5 TFS + 5WM + 2kragh (Infused Axes + Sharp Dagger) with vMA (Nirn) Bow on back bar.

But again, pre patch, on the same setup/ rotation i was doing clsoe to 36-37 on 3 mil, and 35 on 6 mil dummy. 5-7% DPS loss is what can be assumed because of the change to sharp and Mundus stone buffs.
When tested the same setup with Lover it goes upto 34-35k which again confirms with the point stated above.

Is the 18.2K pen cap the result of pen + debuff
for example: your physical pen is 16k and you debuff mob's physical resistance by 2.2k and you reach the 18.2K cap??
