Depends on how silly things are. Or if in pvp, I tell what's been taken, flagged, or other things that would be useful to the masses. That, or I just like being a lil poo cuz pvp zone chat is pretty chill.

Just ask any question in zone chat, and you'll get answers from at least a dozen professional sage gurus.

mostly LFG, but otherwise I don't really chat in there. Sometimes theres just silliness in zone chat, I don't need to advertise my conversations >.<

Not often.

If someone asks a question I can answer, I'll whisper the reply. I've shown people where places or npcs are. In Davon's I'll randomly ask if any new players would like a crafted set of gear.

Most zone chat, the pointless spam and political crap I ignore. If its really annoying, I shut down zone.

I always join in on the random conversations going on. If that's not what I am doing, then I am offering to help someone in any way or to give a vamp/ww bite. For pvp I like to shout out about things being under attack

Didn't screenshot it but here is how the conversation went last night.

Player: Plz I need vampire bite for my build or it won't work.

Me: So, not being a vampire will cause your build to be useless and not work at all? Unless you min/max, it won't make much difference to you.

Player: No it is for my meme build

Me: A build that creates meme's? What kind of sorcery is this?!

Then a few others joined in lol, replying mememagix and the like.

Other than the above, it is usually annoying spammers so I say nout.

Very, very rarely. I sometimes answer questions if others are too concerned with their darn dolmen grind spamming. How to unlock skills or armour skill lines, how to turn into a vampire or werewolf, where to find those, how to research traits, etc. That is pretty much the only time I say something in zone chat.

Only in Cyrodiil in hopeful attempt to direct attention to areas under attack. Does not always work. Especially if there are AP farm-fests going on. But have to try.

I have zone chat disabled, and prefer very occasionally to ask or reply to something in zone English chat. On the whole, however, I've never seen any public chat channel contain anything worth reading or contributing to - they're usually full of guild recruiters, trade spammers, gold sellers and immature boys.

Zone chat is more times than not, really unpleasant, and more filth talks are engaging. Each time I turn on zone chat for a few to see what guilds are recruiting, but can't even have it up for a few minutes without bantering, harassing, derogatory and even racist remarks going on.. no matter what zone. Blocking filth peeps are just adding up. It is just pathetic the type of people we have in this world and those are playing in the game as well as trolling and making those unpleasant remarks on zone chat.

sometimes i join ongoing conversations if they are something that interests me. sometimes I just answer a question that I know the answer to. mostly I chat in guild chat, but every once in a while guildies are quiet and zonechat looks interesting.
