I just beat it recently. I took screenshots of about 2-3 fails where I had him down to 8%, and even less I think. Then I beat it and erased all those pictures, but kept the one that counts:

@ArchMikem - I did crystal phase by throwing the ground dots at one crystal, then focus another, heavy attacks if u need sustain only on first wall. Switch to Overload, go downstairs and kite-nuke the Crem Guard with Overload. Save the defense, power, and haste sigils for the end phase. Second time up, I would also use overload to finish off the crystals if I got to the second wall with low resources. Lightning form for free dps on crystals near you and speed.

I used Destructive touch instead of frags because of the knockback/stun for summoners and the dot on crystals.

I hated memorizing it, it's like some kind of deadly choreography. Wrong step/lag bs and back to the wayshrine. I literally jumped for joy when I finally did it though. VMA teaches you to keep your cool when things get hairy, or die. VWGT HM will feel like FG1 after this.
