That Moment When...

That moment when you're a warden healer doing your best in a boss fight, your team just can't seem to beat, and then they complete it after you leave with a templar healer...

The boss was veteran falkreath final boss, we had gotten him down to 20% easily enough, but would always get overrun by atronachs, or had trouble breaking through his shield before he shouted again. In anycase, a templar healer got the job done when as a warden healer doing it for approx 4 horus could not.

I always chuckle when I see a sentence like this.

    Read the last part, slowly.

If you don't get it, that's ok.

Raw healing should not be the issue.
Unless group ran around like headless chickens making bol important its rather
Templar was an better healer, probably faster / knew and was ready for mechanic, gave more support spc, shards (you have orbs but they should be used), ele drain, combat prayer add a bit of dps.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I know the mechanics, I run spc and gave it out like candy. My other set is master architect for that 10 second slayer buff on ultimate. i didnt run combat prayer, because not much opportunity to use it, i rand ele drain and elemental blockade.

I healed it on templar, no spc, just julianos, just done a few vet 2 dungeons before, joined for normal run :)
We did it after some hours, none of us had done it on vet.

BoL was useful in one setting, then you ran with fire behind you and should not cross others path.
here I had enough problems running and could not aim. I had magic because of the pull in phase.
Else I mostly used healing springs.

OP wants the warden healer to be as good as a Templar healer?

I don't think that was the design intent bro.

    Healers slow you down
Falkreath is easy with 1 tank 3 dds. If you're good enough.

And as for warden - it's a class invented by having thoughts while having a nice lavatory session.

Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

Having a Templar instead of a Warden doesn't make or break the run. The player behind the char might though.

when youre team is barely pulling enough dps to finish it by the skin of their teeth it does. Anyways I caved and went with my templar to beat it with another group.

Of course it was my mistake to make a thread about the discrepancy between Templar and warden healing and my frustration with it. Since sone ppl enjoy belittling others when they can.

Your problem was the group, not Templar or Warden.

The boss is in my opinion a bit luck based, even if you have the mechanics down. That said I think warden is suboptimal on that boss. A lot of line of sight issues and fighting in very cramped space makes his AOE based healing unreliable in my opinion. Never the less you can easily beat this boss with other healers then Templar.
