I clicked on rubidite ore to mine it and it said , somebody else is using that, then it disappeared but I was the only one there.

✭✭✭✭Just guessing but maybe you were in an instanced area? When I was getting the fishing achievement I would sometimes group up with guild members. There were times when we would be fishing the same hole but couldn't see each other. The reason then was because one of us had completed quests in the area and the other had not. -
