Writs - Improving Rewards?

I know this has been discussed, but can't find a good thread. I also know Zenimax posted somewhere the answer to my question months ago, but also can't find. I am trying to find the explanation of what improves your chance for writ rewards. For example, knowing all runestones helps Enchanting; knowing more recipes helps provisioning, etc. Does anyone know where that article is? Trying to decide how much I want to put into my toons for their writs. Thanks.

They said traits researched, motifs known and achievements completed. They were deliberately vague about whether that just meant crafting achievements, or all of them.
Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".

I believe the full list was in the patch notes somewhere. Short answer, no I don't have a link. ;)

For Provisioning, it is only the number of PURPLE recipes known that increases master writ chance.

For Blacksmithing/Clothing/Wood knowing all the traits and the number of motifs (purple pages) that you know improves chance of master writs.

"Improves" is relative here. You WILL get more master writs. 99% of them will be for 5-6 vouchers.

That links back to a post from one of the devs on this site. The information it contains is actually useful, rather than the vague post I saw from the community team. Thanks for sharing!

Ahhh, nice. Thanks. Do you know if these parameters are only for Master Writs, or if they affect the frequency of getting gold mats and surveys, as well?

Those requirements are unique to master writs only.

For provisioning, known Gold food/drink recipes also increase your chance of getting a master writ.

I remember reading that the new achievements for harvesting the new furnishing mats, and knowing lots of designs/blueprints etc., do NOT affect your chances of getting a master writ.
