Ironically, "quitting" the game should be one of the simplest functions to code, I would think.
(Windows 7 Pro 64 bit here - same issue, far too often.)Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

✭✭✭✭✭Just tested with Windows 10 and alt+F4 worked as expected.
While I think I have had an issue with it not working previously, it was a one off occurrence and it was clear something else was wrong since it has usualy worked reliably for me using both Windows 7 and 10.
However, this is not something Zos has coded, or they would code. Alt+F4 is a Windows shortcut to close the currently active window.0 -

mook-eb16_ESO✭✭✭✭^^ yes alt-f4 is just a command that is sent to process it is possible to stack many eso.exe running still in the background whilst only 1 game window is active. if you relog after alt-f4 without terminating in task manager you will find it takes you several attempts to log back in. with different messages appearing saying "your account is till logged in", "you don't have a valid internet connection" etc. you will also suffer from increased latency fps drops etc why am I using alt-f4 because I'm stuck in loading screens or to reset various other bugs without being logged out of pvp.0
