Witches Festival making a comeback ?

Hollowjack Spectre Mask + Thicketman (scarecrow) Spectre Mask in collections tab, I dont ever remember seeing it in my collections tab so was this added in update 15 as a sign the Festival is coming back or have I just overlooked them ? or was it a CS exclusive

I've tried Google for the hollowjack spectre mask, can't find anything about it even from last years event, even this thread doesn't list the Hollowjack mask

Witches festival returns. With all known drops from last year and the 2 "new" hats.

Honestly, that makes me wish some of those polymorph enemies, like the Scarecrows were added in as random spawns during the event, scattered across the maps.

Oh god, I forgot about that for a minute. Seriously, guys, give us that skeleton costume as a polymorph, then let us decide if we want to look like the grim reaper for three weeks.

Do a quest that needs a disguise and keep the disguise.... you have some weeks to find the nicest.
Use the disguise during the event.. unless they have fixed that of course.

Amusingly that was always a client side fix at best. Other players would still see you a corpse, and it would sometimes break on your end as well.

No what they said was the exact same crap, plus two new hats.

I regard that as good news and I'm glad to finally hear it. I had been wondering how they were going to handle these festival rewards second time around.

With the achievements and titles being character rather than account wide and some of them being very time-consuming, I certainly haven't even tried to get them on every character. It's good to know that I can at least theoretically complete them if I ever decide I want to.

All holiday festivals repeat. Some of the files for the festival were already in the HotR PTS.

All items return + a few new ones.

Saw the plunder skulls on PTS during the first test phase of HoTR and got quite a lot of gnarled & burnt tree furnishings for homestead, plus the old hollowjack motifs. Then the next update they removed them so I didn't get a chance to farm them but it does look like there's some furniture stuff related this year in addition to the 2 new masks.

I would love it if I could get that wicked witchmothers cauldron for my kitchen... hint hint ZoS

Yeah, no. I ground public raid bosses for Halloween in The Secret World. Sticking stuff like that in the open world just leads to tedium. I'm talking maybe champion grade at most. Enemies that pop up in random places, and ambush the player.

I missed the event last year. Same with new life festival. I'm kind of glad they are repeating it but...

At the same time I wish that they would make the effort to make each year's events different and unique. I've only ever played one other mmo, FFXIV, and they do different events each year. And there's actually a bit of a story driven quest behind them each year in addition to decorations all around towns for the duration. If all I have to look forward to next year is the same exact event as this year and last just with a few new items thrown in for variety sake, it just diminishes the point of the event.

I'm excited to participate in the next holiday event but I do agree that ZOS is pretty lazy about it. I would love for them to decorate major cities. Have random mobs in zone that is tailored for the event that has a slight chance of dropping items or something. So many possibilities but it's wasted. Cmon ZOS step up your game!

They have added furniture and some housing rewards from what I've read/heard.

Pls no, I got my guild bank STILL full with Hollowjack pages, at least I MIGHT be able to sell a few full pages to people but doubt it will have to just learn on alts or destroy them all

I would not mind if each event has different collectables. Not the same stuff recycles each year.

As for what OP does not have, can probably be found at guild traders rather cheap.
